Planning a large family meal?
This year I am feeding 12 people for Christmas lunch.so it helps to do a little mis-en-place pre preparation.
Here’s how much of each traditional food favourite you’ll need for each guest to ensure you don’t run out a disapoint.

Turkey If you’re buying a whole bird, allow about 500g per person,
Roast potatoes Each person will want 250g –.
Stuffing You should allow 100g per person, that’s 800g .
Sprouts carrots and other veg Allow 80g per person,
Pigs in blankets as many as you like each we like 2 each
Gravy one litre should be enough for eight (125ml per person) — but I always make extra
Cranberry sauce You will need about 50g per person – .
Christmas pudding A 900g pudding is enough
Brandy sauce A litre should be enough for eight (125ml per person)
