As we approach Valentine’s Day, the most romantic time of the year for some I thought I'd answer a question that people often ask me, 

Why Coeur de Xocolat is Spelt with an X is it a signature or a kiss? (It might be)

Well, an X has been a signature for kisses for years now and probably one of the best answers that explains how it came about takes us to ancient Rome where on legal/government documents the people of Rome would put an x and then kiss it to show they were sincere.

At Coeur de Xocolat we are sincere in our quest to put chocolate at the heart of everything we do. 

But the truth of the word is Xocolatl was the original spelling of the word chocolate so we knocked off the L at the end and here we are pucker up
