Ingredients
- 1 kg peeled, deveined prawns
- 800grams chopped tomatoes (tinned)
- 3 cloves garlic, mince
- d 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- teaspoons. Vanilla Extrac
- t ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
Method
In a large sauté pan, heat oil
Sauté́ garlic, onion and peppers until they start to brown. Add prawns and cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until the prawns are almost fully cooked. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, cloves and black pepper; cook for 5 minutes.
Remove the pan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract; season to taste.
